Neuroscience Seminar Series
Summary:
This talk will focus on experimental evidence for neural systems dynamics, using as illustrations three examples taken from different systems and animal species: a sensory system (olfactory circuits in insects), a motor system (the camouflage system of cuttlefish) and cortical networks (in the three-layered cerebral cortex of reptiles). One of the goals of this juxtaposition is to identify potentially general functional or computational principles of neuronal systems dynamics.
