The Regina and John Scully '66 Center for the Neuroscience of Mind and Behavior The Scully Center for the Neuroscience of Mind and Behavior is of critical importance in enabling Princeton scientists to advance knowledge of how the brain processes information and gives rise to language, emotions, problem solving, and decision making — the mental characteristics that make us human. Rutgers-Princeton Center for Cognitive Computational Neuropsychiatry The Rutgers-Princeton Center for Cognitive Computational Neuropsychiatry (CCNP) aims to bridge the understanding of mental illness with insights into brain function through a major collaborative initiative between PNI, Princeton’s Department of Psychology, and Rutgers’ departments of Psychology, Psychiatry, and Computer Science, along with Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, and the Rutgers Brain Health Institute. Conte Centers PNI is home to several Conte Centers, which are funded by the National Institute of Mental Health and focused on advancing the understanding of mental illness. Instrumentation & Design Engineering Center The Instrumentation & Design Engineering Center (IDEC) at the PNI is dedicated to developing technological solutions for research projects.
